The highly experienced Steve Simms controls the Reds off the field of play and his wealth of contacts within the game has driven the Reds' exciting recruitment policy as the club prepares for its first season at the new Salford City Stadium. Has had the occasional hold of the reigns in-between departed coaches but is now firmly nestled in an rugby administrative role at Salford. |

Phil Veivers |

Former St Helens legend, Phil Veivers spent time on the Wigan coaching staff in 2009. He joined the Reds in 2011 and oversaw a difficult period as Acting Head Coach until the arrival of Matt Parish after the departures of Saun McRae and Malcolm Alker. Then, upon Parish's departure, finally took over at the helm himself and is hugely excited by the prospect of coaching the Reds in 2012. |

Sean Long |

Genuine rugby league royalty, Sean is three-time winner of the coveted Lance Todd Trophy, has represented his country more times than is possible to remember and has a trophy cabinet comparable to many in world sport. He joins the Reds after hanging up his boots and will cut his coaching teeth in an all former Saints back-room and is looking to impart his vast rugby league knowledge on the Reds stars. |

Mark Barry |

Mark joins the Reds from London Wasps as the new Head of Strength & Conditioning and brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge. He's no stranger to rugby league having played the game to Academy level with London Broncos before finding his feet in the 15-a-side code. His starting three-year deal at Salford will enable him to put programmes into place over the coming seasons that will benefit the evolution of the squad as they look to become a regualr playoff side. email mark.barry@reds.co.uk |

Matt Jenkinson |

Matt is now in his second season with the Reds and continues to do great work. He has a wealth of experience in dealing with sports injury and science and will be a more-than-vital cog in the team as they move to the Reds' new gome at the Salford City Stadium. |

Another GB favourite plying his trade on the Reds' coaching staff. Considered by some as a Rugby Genius, Alan is now firmly in control of the Reds' juniors as well as looking after the club's scholarship system. The former Saints, Hull and Reds' wingman has a wealth of experience to offer the future stars of British Rugby League |
